I have been homeschooling my daughter and teaching online since 2020. As a teacher, I am fun, enthusiastic, and energetic. My style will engage even the shyest learners.
I've written for publications such as Entrepreneur, Inc. Magazine, The New York Times, and many more since 2008. Additionally, my third nonfiction book published in August 2023 (Workman/Hachette).
I received my B.A. in Communication with a minor in business from the University of Missouri. I spent 17 years in writing, public relations, marketing, and communications -- the last 10 of which were running my own agency.
